What we assess

Six components across the methodology.

Each component independently assessed and benchmarked. Baseline assesses three; Benchmark and Enterprise assess all six.

Customer acquisition systems

Channel diversification, cost efficiency, transferability, attribution accuracy, scalability.

Search visibility & organic performance

Organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, year-on-year growth trends.

Content & digital asset library

Website authority, published content, case studies — assets that compound over time.

Marketing technology & infrastructure

Platform maturity, data quality, documentation, operational independence.

Customer database & CRM

Database quality, segmentation, consent, engagement, system integration.

Digital channel performance

ROI by channel, trend lines, benchmark comparisons, balance of spend versus results.

Common questions

What you might be wondering.

If you're a small business owner or marketing manager looking for an objective external check, Baseline is built for you. If you're a CMO, CFO or Managing Director needing independent, board-grade documentation, Benchmark is the right tier. If you're commissioning an assessment across multiple brands or entities, Enterprise is scoped individually. The comparison table above shows the differences side-by-side.

A score out of 100, plus sub-scores against either three components (Baseline) or six (Benchmark and Enterprise). Sector benchmark comparisons. Identified risks and prioritised recommendations. Benchmark and Enterprise also include a digital asset inventory and an executive debrief. The full methodology is documented on our how it works page.

Read-only access to your analytics platform, Google Search Console, and primary advertising accounts. Granted via standard user-sharing and revocable at any time. We access no financial systems or platforms outside the agreed scope.

Baseline takes two weeks from order to delivered PDF. Benchmark runs two to three weeks from discovery call to debrief. Enterprise varies by scope. If you have a deadline — for a transaction, board review, or budget cycle — let us know at the outset.

We have no commercial relationship with any agency and nothing to sell after the assessment. Our independence is structural — no referral arrangements, no follow-on upsells. We are retained solely by the party commissioning the report.

Yes — that is precisely what it is designed for. The report format sits naturally alongside financial statements and legal documentation. You retain ownership and can share it with any party at your discretion.

Often more so. A limited digital presence is itself a finding with strategic significance. A DAVI score of 35 with clear commentary is more useful — in any context — than no assessment at all. We assess objectively; we do not penalise businesses for being at an earlier stage.

Yes. If you start with a Baseline and decide you need the deeper assessment, the A$2,500 paid is credited toward a subsequent Benchmark engagement (so the marginal cost is A$5,000 rather than the full A$7,500). The credit applies if commissioned within six months of Baseline delivery.

Order a Baseline now if it fits the question. Order a Benchmark or request an Enterprise scope if you need the deeper engagement.
